We are based in our Wokingham office with the option to work in hub locations across London. We work on a hybrid basis with 2-3 days in the office to support knowledge sharing and collaboration, with the freedom to work from home on the other days.

The Individual we are looking for

We’re seeking an individual passionate about sustainability who brings enthusiasm, analytical rigour, and a proactive mindset. You are likely to be an early-career professional with strong research and data skills. You will have experience or a strong interest in areas such as Net Zero, responsible business, ESG reporting, or supply chain sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake data analysis, research and a range of tasks that will support project managers/directors for client sustainability projects
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative inputs to understand a client’s impacts and prepare recommendations for improvement
  • Support project leads to create strong client relationships and ensure excellent collaboration and communication within project teams
  • Develop emissions reductions strategies, including science-based targets and net-zero roadmaps as well as ESG goals
  • Contribute content to website, newsletter and blogs
  • Muck in to help the company with a can-do attitude appropriate to a small business environment where we all have responsibility to keep the business running in good shape.

Required skills

The candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • Recent graduate with relevant degree-level qualification with 1 to 2 years’ experience working on sustainability projects as a researcher or analyst
  • A working knowledge of GHG accounting and Net Zero principles, the UN SDGs and popular ESG reporting frameworks
  • Experience of working with large datasets and the ability to synthesise and interpret data into meaningful and material conclusions
  • Organised, with great attention to detail, and able to manage multiple projects or tasks under time pressure
  • The ability to interpret insights from data in order to identify risks and opportunities
  • Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills and the ability to learn new technology applications
  • The ability to communicate complex technical information in a succinct and accessible way
  • Excellent English oral and written skills as applied to presentations and written reports
  • Proactive attitude and a desire for continuous learning
  • The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK

Package

  • Salary: £26,000 – £36,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience
  • 30 days annual leave including public or bank holiday plus Christmas shutdown (typically 3 days)
