Cushman & Wakefield is the world’s largest privately held commercial real estate services firm providing a range of property related services to number of sectors. In the UK, clients include The Crown Estate, Aviva Investors, Heron International and Invesco Real Estate.
In 2012 the UK business took a decision to seek certification to the Environmental Management Standard ISO14001, led by a desire to demonstrate best practice. For the FM and PAM parts of the business, this meant delivering the following learning objectives:
- Ensuring legal compliance for the properties under management and employing good practice on sites to abide by the Service Charge Code of Conduct,
- Develop the internal capacity of the business and embed sustainability thinking to all individuals; and
- demonstrate competency of individuals through a recognised training provider.
Training involved over 120 UK employees up to Partner level in the business.
